The MA-based non-profit educational organization, the Center for Science Engagement, Inc. was founded with the idea that learning should be fun. Science and related fields have traditionally tended to be somewhat boring in the education realm. So, we have made it our mission to develop and promote creative science learning through research-tested and validated mean, proven to generate interest, engagement and excitement in people of all ages. Whether you’re 9 or 99, we encourage literacy and a lifelong love of science. We do this through the research and development of personalized, interactive and media-rich materials aligned with the latest technologies, to help youth and adults better understand (and potentially become inspired by) scientific concepts. We also try to make our wares as adventurous and fun as possible! Our research-based approach focuses on better understanding how our courses and other learning materials are perceived within our target audiences — and whether or not they lead to enhanced engagement over the long term.
